As part of our commitment to safety we are a SiteSafe member, all Tidy Slabs employees and subcontractors are required to undergo safety training on a regular basis and conduct site specific hazard assessments.

Tidy Slabs works primarily in the residential construction industry providing home builders with our foundation construction service. With several crews operating in the wider Wellington region we are able to service larger volume clients as well as one off builds. We primarily promote the use of a raft flooring system to our residential clients but we have the capability and experience to construct any foundation.

Our crews are available to construct foundations for light commercial projects such as multi dwelling townhouse complexes, retirement villages, warehouses and storage facilities. Due to the time savings and cost efficiencies of raft slab foundations we believe they are perfectly suited for light commercial projects. Our commercial foundations crews are available to travel beyond the Wellington region and we are willing to provide quotes on projects in the lower North Island.

The raft slab flooring system is an innovative method of concrete floor construction, offering an insulated floor with a quick, practical and efficient construction method providing high strength, durability and affordability.

Tidy Slabs can provide our clients with foundation design and engineering through one of our industry partners. Preliminary Site Investigations, Design Plans and Site Inspections can be provided as part of our service. This can be done in the initial designing phase in order to gain consent, or if consent has already been issued we can assist with reengineering a traditional slab foundation design to utilise the raft system.

When complex and precise layout is required, we have the added service of being able to conduct the construction surveying in house and if needed, provide clients with a 3D model verification of the work completed. We have high end survey instruments as well as the knowledge and experience in the high accuracy industrial setting to draw on from Tidy Slabs management.
